This games-based workplace health and safety training course is
an interactive way to learn about Occupational Health and Safety
standards. These standards provide a model for creating and using
an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).
Trainees will explore a virtual pleasure-boat factory and meet
characters that are struggling to understand and control safety
hazards and health risks at their workplace. The trainees will then
implement an Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
In training, they will make real choices for the characters,
some of which may result in accidents and serious illness, while
others lead to improvements in efficiency, compliance with
regulations, and a safer and healthier workplace. Trainees will
learn to:
- Identify and assess potential health and safety risks;
- Develop efficient procedures to identify those risks
quickly;
- Implement OHSMS procedures.
As part of the standards for Occupational Health and Safety
Management Systems, organizations are also required to show
proof that anyone involved in your organization's
occupational health and safety is properly trained and competent
with the health and safety standards. Our training product shows
accurate and convenient logs so that records of training are easy
to present to officials.
